Vana Samaaradhana Celebrations Symbol of Unity and Harmony

The annual Vana Samaaradhana (forest worship) celebrations were held in a grand manner at Madala Srinivas Rao Gardens, Surampalli Adda Road, marking a strong message of unity among communities. The event took place without any discrimination or social differences, reflecting the true spirit of togetherness.

Spiritual and religious service leader Gokaraju Gangaraju, who attended as the chief guest, said that forest worship ceremonies have always stood as symbols of unity, cutting across caste and economic barriers. He assured that he would extend financial support for the construction of the community’s ancestral deity temple.

Speaking at the event, he added that the traditional Haridasu performances seen during Sankranti reflect Telugu cultural heritage. These celebrations not only preserve tradition but also strengthen family and community bonding, he said.

Members of the Madiga Dasu National Welfare Association (Andhra Pradesh) honored Gangaraju with a ceremonial shawl. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from morning onwards, with cultural songs, traditional games, and competitions. Prizes were distributed to the winners.

After the celebrations, a committee meeting was held where a new executive body was elected. Representatives and community members from both Telugu states and Karnataka attended the event.

The election process was overseen by Mangalgiri Baba, M. Parthasarathi Rao, and M. Keshavan as election officers.

The program concluded with a pledge to continue community welfare activities and to uphold the cultural spirit of forest worship.
